RESEARCH
The research focus of our group is to use the nanotechnological platform for specific biomedical applications. We take bioresources as inspiration to design and synthesize our functional nanomaterials. We are a group of multidisciplinary people and focused on the development of anti-amyloidogenic and fibril destabilization nanomaterials and monitor their mechanism to combat neurodegeneration. We are actively involved in designing anti-bacterial/anti-biofilm nanomaterials and follow their mechanism to combat antibiotic resistance. Designing novel nanozyme as Point of Care (PoC) diagnostics for responsive biomedical applications, biosensing and immunoassay are some of our research interests. We are also interested to know how nanomaterial-protein/cell interactions govern the overall efficacy of any nanomedicine.
